Jefferson County Agribusiness Banquet

Tickets will be available for the Annual Jefferson County Agribusiness Banquet, set for Friday, March 17th,
7:00 pm at First National Bank, American National Bank, Union Bank, Jefferson County Extension and the Fairbury Chamber for $5 each. The meal will be catered by Ricky’s of Hanover, Kan.
The evening will feature entertainment by David Seay, presenting "Train Songs and Tales." Climb aboard as he shares a variety of railroad inspired songs and stories that offer peeks into the past from a wide variety of points of view. This upbeat excursion is accompanied by guitar, banjo, harmonica, whistles, and a sing-along or two.
Humanities Nebraska provides major funding for this program. NH receives support from the Nebraska Cultural Endowment, the Nebraska State Legislature, and the National Endowment for the Humanities.
The banquet will also include the presentation of the FFA Alumni scholarship, the Jefferson County Ag Award, and the NRD Conservation Award. There will be a silent auction, including work from FFA members.
The annual Jefferson County Agribusiness Banquet is organized by the Fairbury FFA Alumni as a thank you to area ag producers, and a promotion of agriculture in our community.
