Jefferson County CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) recruits, trains, and supports community volunteers who advocate for the best interests of abused and neglected children through the Jefferson County court system. Our volunteer advocates come from all walks of life and work part-time, full-time, or are retired. Their common link is that they have BIG hearts for vulnerable kids. The time commitment is about 6 to 10 hours a month and allows for very flexible scheduling. To learn more about CASA please visit our website at: www.sewardcountycasa.org.
Jefferson County CASA is a satellite program of Seward County CASA. The physical office is located in Seward but staff members from Seward come to Fairbury once a week to meet with volunteer advocates, attend to court hearings, give presentations, and interact with the community stakeholders. We are excited to team up with community members in Jefferson County to make a difference in the lives of abused and neglected children! |
