Stepping into the Jalisco in Fairbury is a little like stepping into a bit of old Mexico.
Jalisco’s meals are billed as “Real Mexican” cuisine, with delicious family recipes that date back many decades, passed down from one family member to the next. Every item on the menu made fresh, daily from scratch.
Jalisco offers an extensive menu and affordable prices, which ensure that every diner will find something they love, from appetizers to an eye-popping array of entrees.
Start out with Jalisco nachos or chips and cheese dip. Then choose from the small or large combination plates. Or, select a tempting dish from the especialidades del puerto menu. There is also a pleasing variety of salads, and meat-free meals, as well as chicken and beef.
Two entrees have proven perennially popular wherever there is a Jalisco. Carne Asada, with flame-broiled steak, served with beans and salad on a warmed tortilla is always a favorite. And, the Enchilada Rancheras, two cheese enchiladas topped with beef, cooked with tomatoes, onions and bell peppers smothered in enchilada sauce, and served with a guacamole salad.
Stop by Jalisco restaurant at 417 D Street on the west side of the square just north of Memories & More Antique Mall, or call (402) 729-2197 to place an order.
