August 6, 2023 Hastings, NE – The Adams County Convention & Visitors Bureau is hosting this year’s Art in the Park event on Sunday, August 6, 2023 from 10:00am to 4:00pm at Libs Park in Hastings, Nebraska. We are excited to announce that at this year’s Art in the Park, there will be 60+ artisans showcasing their talents featuring a wide variety of one-of-a-kind exhibits and fine arts. Including: Metal Sculptures, Photography, a variety of Painting styles, Stained Glass, Crochet items, Wood Carvings, Door Art, Pottery, Macramé items, Jewelry, Wooden items, Hand Crafted items, Handmade Glass Marbles, Pine Needle Baskets and more!
This event is FREE and open to the public.
There will also be food trucks available at the park all day during the event. The vendors include: Serrano’s Mexican Grill, Tropical Sno, Pig In A Bag, Special Scoops, Hangries, JP Kettle Corn & JP’s Nutty Bavarian, and Hit The Spot.
This year we will have lots of exciting extra things to offer the event goers – of all ages! Kool-Aid Man will be making an appearance. The Hastings Public Library will provide a make & create space for jewelry and items made from wood. The Adams Central National Honors Art Society will be doing face painting. There will be various Art Vendors who will be doing demonstrations and interactions. There will also be a Caricature Artist at the event.
Art in the Park is an amazing opportunity for people from Adams County and the surrounding communities to shop, support and purchase the talented work of our fellow community members and out of town vendors who are all creative artists!
We will also have live music from local musicians who will provide entertainment throughout the day.
It will be a day filled with FUN! You can shop, dine on food truck specialties, bring your lawn chair or blanket and listen to the live entertainment, take part in the demonstrations and let your kids play in the park!
The week before the event, starting (Saturday, July 29– Saturday, August 5) I will be showcasing all the vendors, booth numbers and photos of their items on our Facebook Page: Art in the Park, Hastings to give you a preview of what is to come!
