In celebration of the 150th Jefferson County Fair, the fairboard is hosting a parade to kick off the fair on Sunday, July 9th at 4 pm. There will be two divisions to enter floats in the parade with one being youth organizations like 4-H clubs & FFA chapters. There are prizes in each division with the winner getting $100 and $50 to second place. The fair theme is “150th Fair of Family, Food and Fun” so get to work now on your ideas for a prize winning entry! Check in is at 3rd & E Sts.
