Fairbury Jr. Jeffs

Sunday September 18, the Fairbury Jr. Jeffs traveled to Geneva to face the Panthers of Fillmore Central. This game proved to be the most challenging in the past year for the Jr. Jeffs as the two seasoned teams began the battle.   Each team began by handing each other fumbles until the Panthers drew first blood with it’s speed around the corner.

Red Division CHAMPIONS

Sunday, October 17, Simon Field, Crete Nebraska. The Fairbury Jr. Jeffs take their 5-0 record to face off with the Raiders of Wymore.  No one could have asked for a more beautiful day to play football, fall in the air, not a cloud in the sky, and an occasional light breeze.

Jr. Jeffs Strike Again

10-10-10; The Jr. Jeffs traveled to Utica to face the Broncos of Centennial.  Looking to end a perfect regular season, the Jr. Jeffs approached the game with a focused attitude.  There was no doubt that Fairbury did not look past the Broncos as they quickly shut down their opponents’ first drive by causing and recovering a fumble.   The Jr. Jeff proceeded to place the ball in the end zone three times in the first quarter.

Jr. Jeff Defense Dominates!

The Fairbury Youth Tackle Football Jr. Jeffs traveled to face the Tri Country Trojans Sunday, October 3rd.  It was a sunny, cool fall day and the Jr. Jeffs came to play football.  As it turned out, the Jr. Jeffs were sunny and the Trojans were cool and fell!  Fairbury came away with the win 46 – 6.

Jr. Jeffs Rushing Explosion

Sunday, September 26, the McCool Junction Colts came to meet the Fairbury Jr. Jeffs at Jefferson Field. The outcome was not what the Colts were expecting.  The Jr. Jeffs went on a scoring explosion leading 38-0 at the half and ending the football game with a 58-6 win.

Fairbury Jr. Jeffs get Second Victory!

The Fairbury Youth Tackle Football Jr. Jeffs came to Jefferson Field Sunday with their 1-0 record to face the 1-0 Raiders of Wymore. Anticipating the need for a strong defense this Sunday, the Jr. Jeffs stood strong on Wymore’s first drive forcing a 3 and out.

Fairbury Youth Tackle Football Wins First Contest

The Jr. Jeffs of Fairbury Youth Tackle Football won their first game Sunday September 12 at the new Jefferson Field against the Thayer Thunder 18 to 6.
