Happy 4th of July (almost)! We’ve been busy this month with lots of summer reading activities, with more to look forward to!

-On July 15, as part of our summer reading activities, the library is sponsoring the summer series movie “The Land Before Time” at the Bonham.  Like all summer movie series, admission is open to the public and free with your purchase of a combo pack. Additionally, kids who participated in the Summer Reading program will have their name entered into a drawing for a special “Land Before Time” gift bag!

-On Thursday, July 23, Jeffs Gone M.A.D. will host a “Summer at the library” party with reading, games, a craft, and snack!

-Interested in playing/learning D&D? Then join our new gaming group! We will meet from 5-7 the first Tuesday of the month beginning August 4. Experienced and novice players welcome! Must be at least 15 to join. There will be snacks! Call or stop by the library for sign-up information.

-Then beginning in September, let’s play some board games! From 5-7pm, the third Thursday of every month, join us at the library to play card and board games! We’ll have games available, or you can bring your own! All ages and skill levels welcome! No sign up necessary. Just show up!

-Also in September, we will be starting an evening book discussion group the second Monday of the month. Talk to library staff if you are interested in joining!

We will be closed both Friday, July 3, and Saturday, July 4, so be sure to stop by the next couple of days to stock up on holiday reads! Have a fun and safe holiday weekend!
